The Presbytery of St. Andrew is composed of 65 congregations in north Mississippi, USA. It is one of 12 presbyteries in the bounds of the Synod of Living Waters, which is one of 16 synods that comprise the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
The mission of the Presbytery of St. Andrew is "to increase the love of God and neighbor" within the communities served by our member churches:
- By proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ
- By participating in Christ's Kingdom of love, justice, and mercy
- By responding to God's call to go where we are needed and where we most need to go
- By witnessing to the power of the Holy Spirit to effect new life in God's creatures and God's creation
- By fostering among our member churches and ministers the conscious realization of God's reconciling presence
- And by enabling our member churches and ministers to express and fulfill the "Call of God" to be God's Covenant People.
